Asociación Cultural Dharma Canarias (Spain)
The Dharma Canarias Cultural Association was established in 2012 and focuses on training as a tool for a better society. Our headquarter is located in the south of Tenerife and we organize many cultural events in coordination with the local Town Halls and also participate in many activities organized by the government of Tenerife bringing together people from different backgrounds and cultures. Fighting prejudices and creating a counciosness of interculturality.
Our head quarters are based in an area were more than 120 different nationalities live in good harmony.
We offer regularly workshops to groups of all kinds of ages and conditions in three main areas: ecology, healthy living and personal growth.
We value education in both young and adults, and we believe it is the best way to reduce economic and spiritual poverty, and inequality. We are aware of the power and the need for education and training in society and that is why we constantly try to learn and improve our skills and knowledge.
We are, so to speak, an educational organization in continuous learning process.
The essence is to convey useful, practical and quality knowledge in the shortest time possible.
Our main profit is to offer tools to our students so they can live a healthier, greener, emotionally and spiritually balanced.
We got our goals through:

We firmly believe that our activities fit well with the objectives of Erasmus+ programme and want to participate to:
Since our creation we worked with OBITEN (Observatory of Immigration of Tenerife) in many activities aim to bring together people from different backgrounds and cultures. Fighting prejudices and creating a consciousness of interculturality.
In April of this year, we started our collaboration with the X School of Social Participation offering conferences to share our experience.
