Asociación Despierta Escuela Consciente (Spain)
The Despierta Escuela Consciente Association was established in 2016 and focuses on training as a tool for a better society. Our headquarters is located in the town of Guatiza Los cocoteros, Teguise, Lanzarote. We develop our activities in the Canary Islands where we do retreats, conferences, courses and seminars.
We have a large interdisciplinary team that helps us to selflessly provide non-formal education senior.
We value education in both young and adults, and we believe it is the best way to reduce economic and spiritual poverty, and inequality. We are aware of the power and the need for education and training in society and that is why we constantly try to learn and improve our skills and knowledge.
We are, so to speak, an educational organization in continuous learning process.
The essence is to convey useful, practical and quality knowledge in the shortest time possible.
Our main profit is to offer tools to our students so they can live a healthier, greener, emotionally and spiritually balanced.

Our training courses are open to all audiences and we proactively try to involve as many disadvantaged people in society as immigrants, refugees, disabled, ethnic minority groups or people without available resources.

Since 2016 our association is dedicated to the formation of both adults and youth. One of our three lines of training is personal growth and within it, over this year, we have developed many courses, workshops and seminars related to emotional management, positive thinking, leadership and communication.
Professional Experience:

Year 97 - Nursing practice in the General Hospital of Arrecife.

Year 98 to 2006 - Training in meditation techniques with groups in the Pyramid Centre in Costa Teguise, relaxation techniques, personal development workshops, workshops with women's groups in the development of the values of the inner feminine path.

Year 2007 - Afacoda, techniques of self-inquiry and self-knowledge for drug addicts and prostitutes, personal accompaniment in the development of the technique.

Year 2008 - Programme on the Ser channel De corazón a corazón with Tao, a question and answer programme on emotional development.

Year 2009-2010 - Development therapies with the project Five Minutes and Light in Your Conscience in the school Los Geranios in Arrecife, for parents, teachers and students, giving more emphasis to children in 6th grade and those in the classroom with autistic and handicapped children. This same year in the IES Arrecife, a series of workshops and meetings were held with the children through the movement of the body and emotions. Workshops on conscious sexuality for 6th graders at the Mercedes Medina school in Arrecife. Work groups in the area of women and equality for the Town Council of Teguise, for six months with the project "En ti esta todo" (Everything is in you).

Year 2011-2012 - Project Conscience in the juvenile prison of Panama. Workshop on Family Structures with the families of the children in the prison, a team of psychologists, therapists, doctors and other professionals gave life to this life project.

Year 2014 - Personalised accompaniment of the path of Development as a Facilitator of the school of Forgiveness Asociación Conciencia, by Skype or experiential. Work groups with the programme Sensitive Laboratory the look of forgiveness intuitive movement for the development of the inner human potential.

Year 2015 - Forgiveness experiential workshops project, in the A.M.P.A. of the school Los Geranios, Arrecife. Workshops for a month at the Tiemar headquarters with the project "Learning to live in relation to life". Individual sessions and accompaniment in emotional therapies for children, men and women. Year 2016 - Project "Learning to live in relation to life" A project carried by the islands, forming working groups of the path of experiential forgiveness, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Tenerife. Personalised accompaniment in Transpersonal Forgiveness Therapies, Working Group in Playa Honda with the Project "Learning to live in relation to life" that the Town Hall of San Bartolomé contracted for 6 months, all successes of audience more than thirty people developed the workshop, making the workshop a success.
