I.S.K.CON Firenze was set up many years ago to bring together people looking for a higher purpose in life. Today there are many youth involved in various projects that help keep them engaged pro-actively. We hold various events here in Florence that utilise the rural countryside for the purpose of Yoga and Relaxation and Meditation Retreats. We have regular youth workshops and cooking courses for youth and also we try to help youth with less opportunities to have nice possibilities for learning new skills. We have regular weekend retreats and workshops where youth gather on Art workshops. We have 4 employees, 80 volunteers and several thousands of tourist visitors per year.

 

Villa Vrindavana is famous for its beautiful gardens and art gallery with many paintings from 19th and 20th Century of Italy and Orient. In addition, for many years we have been developing ecological tourism, farming and a cow protection centre, with the aim to move towards a method of living that is sustainable and beneficial to the extended community. This also gives the tourists, students and youth an experience of natural living and adds to the peaceful atmosphere of Villa Vrindavan.
