KA2:
Cooperation for innovation and exchange of good practises
Know more
Key Action 2 is all about enabling organizations to work together in order to improve their provision for learners and share innovative practices.
Under Key Action 2 organizations can apply for funding to work in partnership with organizations from other participating countries.
The projects funded under this Key Action will focus on sharing, developing and transferring innovative practices in education, training and youth provision between participating countries.
Key Action 2 is divided into two main types of activity: decentralised activities and centralised activities. Decentralised activities for each EU country are run by National Agencies while centralised activities are run by the European Commission’s Executive Agency based in Brussels.
Strategic partnerships are decentralised activities, while knowledge alliances, sector skills alliances and capacity building are centralised activities.
Strategic partnerships
Strategic Partnerships are transnational projects designed to develop and share innovative practices and promote cooperation, peer learning, and exchanges of experiences in the fields of education, training, and youth.
Overall, strategic partnerships aim to address horizontal priorities as well as field specific priorities in the areas of:
-
Higher education
-
Vocational education and training
-
School education
-
Adult education, and
-
Youth.
There are two kinds of Strategic Partnership; those supporting innovation and those supporting the exchange of good practices.
